With hundreds of titles to choose from, you can get lost in all of the gaming possibilities the console has to offer. I have compiled a list to assist you though, these are among the best Wii games you should put in your library.

If you own a Wii you are likely familiar with Wii Sports. This came comes with any new console purchase and features a limited array of popular sports the whole family can enjoy. Nintendo liked the idea so much that they recently released a second edition that you can separately purchase entitled Wii Sports Resort. This game features some of the sports of the first, and so many more. Some of the new editions to the line up include: some swordplay, table tennis, Frisbee, archery, cycling and many more. So check it out.

Super Mario Bros. Wii is a new addition to the Wii gaming library. Staying true to its inspiration of the 1980s classic, the game is two-dimensional and side scrolling. However, the graphics are incredibly better and you have a new multiplayer feature. You and up to three other friends can simultaneously play this revamped version of the classic title.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl was a title released for the Wii that had an incredible amount of hype. The popular franchise began picking up steam with its various edition released on the Nintendo Gamecube. The latest installment to this impressive franchise has many of the classic characters and boasts controls that allow interactive game play to move this franchise into the future. This was a highly anticipated title and a title that should be included in your Wii game library.

Mario Kart is another title that was released by Nintendo before. It saw its debut on the Super Nintendo, but even more success when it was released again as Mario Kart: Double Dash on the Nintendo Gamecube. This game allows you to use motion sensitive controls to twist and turn your way to victory over some classic Mario Bros. Characters. Play with your friends or family to see who deserves to win the cup.

Nintendo has also been working to make the Wii more appealing to the individual as well. This is evident in a title like The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. You might find the consistencies to other Zelda stories refreshing. You are still in another scenario that requires you to save the world. You are still Link. You are still living in Hyrule, and you really have a thing for Zelda the princess. This game can be considered an improvement with the motion sensitive controls. This allows you to literally sword fight and shoot a bow and arrow. This allows you to become more connected to the game.

The last one on this list is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. This title showcased a side of Nintendo that many were delighted to see. They are the kings of family games, but they might also have the capacity to bring you some incredible mature titles as well. This installment of the popular franchise sends you through battle situations unlike anything you have seen in the franchise history. You will find that using the motion controls allows you to experience the game as most will not get the chance, if they opt to play on a different console.

Cursed Mountain set to scare Wii gamers

October 16, 2009 by Dave Taylor

Cursed Mountain is the first true survival horror game for the Nintendo Wii. Unlike other horror games, Cursed Mountain doesn't rely on blood and guts to shock you. It has atmosphere and storytelling to that instead.

The story of the game has you climbing a mountain looking for your lost brother, Frank, who disappeared when searching for a Buddhist artefact called "Terma". It's the combination of Buddhist and Eastern philosophy in Cursed Mountain that gives it a very unique feel, as well as a deep well of background to draw upon.

As the game is on the Wii, you might assume that the lack of graphic gore is because the platform isn't great at graphics, but actually Cursed Mountain has some of the bets visuals the Wii has yet seen.

As well as the graphics in the game, the controls make the most of the Wii. Unlike ported games where developers have clearly tried to work out how to make some sort of gimmick out of the control system, Cursed Mountain has every part of the game developed from the ground up with the controller in mind, whether it's walking across a chasm bridge or fighting off malevolent spirits.

It's not a one dimensional route to the top of the mountain either, as you can choose your route. As you progress upwards, the game offers more puzzles and challenges, such as the depleting amount of oxygen in the air the higher you get, making you race from one oxygen bottle to the next.

It's this mixture of new gameplay and puzzles with great graphics - unseen before on the Wii - and a proper, involved control system, that makes Cursed Mountain a game worth investigating. It's not one for the kids, but a great game for those in search of something a little less childish to play on their Wii.

A Nintendo Wii only game, Cursed Mountain has a release date of 4th September 2009.

David Taylor is the Publishing Director for the digital games magazine portal, GamerZines.com. There's more about Cursed Mountain in the exclusive Cursed Mountain magazine, as well as in the free Wii magazine, PlayZine, which is published monthly and offered for free download.

Cheap wii games are available almost all over, but the decision to buy or download them must be cautiously made since as the expression goes: sometimes cheap is expensive. The items to see prior to buying the cheap wii games is their root and the reputation of the vendor marketing them.

It is likely that not every cheap wii games are frauds; the low price may be due to smaller running prices as in online shops, straight sales from the creator reducing all the procurators, promotions, clearances, or the games being second hard. When the video gamer grows more of age and is not really as interested in video games grouped as children's games, he might decide to sell his wii games.

Skins For Your Video Game Console

October 3, 2009 by Trent Young

Pretty much all video game consoles are fairly simple and plain in design. While that may be fine for some, many want there are things to be unique and different. The good news is that there are a ton of ways you can customize your electronic devices. Whether you just want to spruce up that new iPod or even something larger such as a PlayStation 3, there is an easy way you can accomplish this - skins. In the following article I will explain to you what video game console skins are and where you can find them.

To start off, skins are actually very simple in design. Almost identical to stickers, skins or vinyl decals as they are also known as are made of higher quality vinyl material that is specially cut to fit each console specifically. They are truly durable and many last for several years - some even longer than the life of the console itself. The great thing about skins that they are very simple to apply. Anyone can do it. You just peel off the paperback and find that the holes and stick it on.

If you own a Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, Sony PSP, or even something else like a iPod or laptop, you can rest assured that there are skins being manufactured for it. The and industry is huge so there are many many designs available for anyone to just go out and pick their favorite one. Some places will even let you design your own skins.

Video game console skins come in many different varieties. There are plain vinyl skins that are great for most consoles and there are also gel-based skins that are perfect for handhelds but you can also get vinyl decals for handhelds as well. It's all just a matter of preference. Designs for skins can be anything the mind can imagine the most part. Everything from simple patterns and one color designs to complex patterns with thousands of colors pictures of your favorite video game character or person.

The more expensive skins might scare you off at first because of the price difference but in reality it's only a few dollars difference and most skins that cost a little bit more are made out of cast final which is of a higher quality than calendared vinyl. Cast vinyl lasts for years longer and is a lot more durable than calendared vinyl anyways. If you decide to go with a cheap skin don't say I didn't warn you.

You should never have to worry about skin fitting your console if you buy the correct type. That is to say, if you buy a Xbox 360 skin you can rest assured that it will fit your Xbox 360 but don't expect it to fit your PS3. This is because all consoles are designed with the same chassis that is the same size across the board. But not all consoles have the same shape or size as you probably already know. Also most skins come with parts for your faceplate, case, controllers, and some even have skins for your accessories.

So as you can see, with just a little bit of money you can get a very unique console that will make it stand out from all your friends. There are even more options for skins such as painting or custom cases but neither of them are as cheap or as easy to do as video game console skins. With so many great designs out there that really is no reason for you not go out and skin your console.

Trent writes articles on all sorts of video game topics including skins at video game console skins where he shows you where you can find xbox 360 skins and many other types.
