If you want to try something totally different in a home video game system, you absolutely have to try the Nintendo Wii in all of the Wii features that it is packed with. One quick session will have you absolutely hooked as it is absolutely the most unique video game system to hit the market in years.

The feature that sets this game system apart from all the others is the unique Wii remote control. This control has the unbelievable ability to actually make the player a part of the game. While you usually will just sit on the couch and work the joystick, that is not possible with the Wii system. You will find yourself standing in the middle of your living room emulating the movements of the character to get the best performance out of this game. There is no other gaming system that can give you this experience.

Wii channel's are another feature of this great gaming system and of course Wii adds their own little touch to it. Instead of having an avatar like you will want other systems, you have a little Mii. The unique thing about this feature is that you can edit your character to basically look like anything you like and some of the games will actually allow you to use this character that you have created in gameplay. There are other channels that are featured here such as the shop channel, the Internet channel, the messageboard channel in the photo channel.

With the Wii Channels the whole family will have a variety of entertainment and information to choose from. You can watch trailers and mini documentaries, play your favorite games. You have the chance to answer popular questions in national and world wide polls. You can even check local, national and international news and weather.

While the remote control seems to be getting all the press these days, the virtual console was initially upset the system apart from all the others. It has the ability to allow you to play games from all of the other previous Nintendo gaming systems. While the other gaming systems will lie you play games on older versions of that system, you cannot play games from systems that are completely different. This is what makes the virtual console so unique in that all of the Nintendo gaming systems are completely different design, yet you can play all their games on the Nintendo Wii.

The hardware on the Wii system is about as good as it gets. You are treated to a DVD drive, 512 MB of internal memory, two USB ports, GameCube ports, but one of the main features built into the hardware is WiiConnect24. This allows the system to constantly receive updates and game content regardless of the fact if you are actually playing games or not. I merely having the game in standby mode you can utilize this feature.

Plain and simple, the Nintendo Wii is absolutely packed with features and has to be considered the premier gaming console in the market today. Playing the system is an experience that is second to none.

More Fun on 30 Rock

by Patrick Daniels

NBC continues to have a winner in 30 Rock, it only trails The Office in rankings. The fourth season has just started and has proven to be just as good as previous seasons. Season 1 through 3 are available on DVD and should be part of your collection.

The first season shows what good writing and good characters can do when they get a chance to develop. The show is about a television show on NBC, shot on set at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Tina Fey, who created the show and helps write the Emmy winning sitcom, plays Liz Lemon. She is a workaholic, with minimal social skills, and as head writer for the show inside a show, is in charge of keeping the writers and actors in line.

Alec Baldwin plays the boss, he just likes to do the business not the problems so that's where Tina Fey's character Liz comes in, to take care of the issues. She has to handle the writers as well as the actors as they are all problem children.

The largest part of the 30 Rock's TV show is given to Tracy Morgan, from SNL. He plays Tracy Jordan, a movie star now in a TV role, who doesn't function normally and causes lots of probems so he has to be supervised. Most of the characters who play actors on the show are weird like him and need constant oversight.

You should buy the DVD's in order to watch and then be up to speed on these crazy characters this season. Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey work well together. Tracy Morgan has found the role made for him and is very comfortable there as he appears to be having fun. The show has only gotten better as time has passed and the characters have been developed.

Many parents have been wanting to get their kids some video games since they were released. These parents believe that by giving their kids these video games, they will have lesser troubles in dealing with their kids' bad habit of going to the arcades to spend long hours of play.

Ever since, Nintendo has been one of the names that pops up first as far as game console marketing is concerned and has been one of the first names that gets into the mind of parents considering safer gaming experience for their kids. Now, future for Nintendo will surely be even brighter with its Wii System in line. The name Nintendo will mark even more on the mind of parents.

The Wii System is a seventh-generation console and a primary competitor of Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Sony's PlayStation 3 in the market. Last year it has conquered the market, was first and actually received great support from people, particularly from parents. It got higher sales than its other aforementioned competitors. According to the NPD Group, the Wii sold more units in the United States than the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in the first half of this year. At the end of this year, its sales are anticipated to increase even more, being even far better than last year.

Parents have been supporting the Wii System last year because of its good features and good effects on their kids. It was noted that their kids with use of Wii System have given lesser attention to browsing the internet, texting their friends and most especially have refrained from going to arcades to play.

Features basically include system being more efficient to use without any other devices needed, and games being better and being even greater than past console games. The games include games familiar to everyone just like bowling, baseball, and tennis. They are really helpful not only for the kids as they get a work on their eye coordination but also for dads and moms as well as they get a workout program. They are totally playable too even by small kids as they are in simple settings or set up. Kids can easily play the games. Some other familiar games are also available. Other adventure-related games for the system will be released soon. Thus, kids will have some other great game options.

Also, Wii offers legendary Nintendo franchises like Zelda, Mario, and Metroid, as well as all new classics such as Wii Play and Wii Sports. Creating own Mii character to star in Wii games and playing with friends online over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection are also possible. Mastering the Nunchuck Controller

by Anthony Kunningham

The Wii Remote Controller has an attachment known as the Wii Nunchuk Controller that has the same feature which is the motion-sensing capability. It serves as the secondary control device which complements the main control device and you can use both devices simultaneously.

When the two controllers are connected with each other, it looks similar with the Nunchaku, hence the name of Nunchuk was derived. The Nunchaku is the Kobudos traditional weapon which has two sticks connected at their ends with a short chain or rope wherein the chain is 3.5 to 4 feet long.

Probably you are wondering if you can use the two controllers simultaneously at the same time since they are attached to each other. Definitely you can because the Nunchuk was designed to be well-matched with the Wii remote. The Nunchuk works dependently with the Wii Remote therefore make sure you plug the secondary controller to its main controller.

The controller has a cord length which is long enough so that if you held your hands apart while playing your favorite video game, you could easily manipulate your characters without difficulty. It allows you to move freely and simultaneously and not limiting your moves in a small area.

The Nintendo Company totally did a great job in creating a one of a kind controller unlike any other game controllers. The gamers can navigate their characters on the game by means of the analog stick of the Nunchuk controller. It is really amazing and awesome! You wont be disappointed in purchasing this great product.

Super Mario Galaxy also uses the Nunchuk. Using the analog stick, you can make your character spin and jump then use the Wii Remote controller to point at the screen. For the game that offers a first person shooter such as Madworld, Metroid and Zelda, you jst have to navigate the analog stick and point and shoot the enemies or objects with the use of the Wii Remote controller.

It certainly helps you unlock the doors to the next level of gaming. Just make sure that you wont knock out some other people while using the Nunchuk controllers because its kinda like real while you are playing those video games using those amazing controllers.
