The game utilizes the Quantum 3 engine that is intended by High Voltage Software particularly for the Wii. IGN (Imagine Games Network) launched this game on April, 2008 and on October, 2008, Sega has become the games official publisher.

The Conduit is an imaginative first-person shooter game wherein the user can experience the game like a real one. In contrast with some Wii games, the controls really feel natural and both controllers are utilized simultaneously. The gameplay is smooth and is very well-matched with the Wii remote and Nunchuck combination.

The storyline may not appear to be somewhat new. It involves aliens trying to rule over the world. You will be a part of an organization called Trust, which is basically a group of government secret agents to battle against the alien invaders. Its possible that a government scheme is behind the alien invasion.

By means of the Wii Remote, you can zoom in the image and the Nunchuk to throw grenades on the enemies. The controls can be changed depending on what you prefer but I didnt find the need to change anything because they are designed in a perfect place for quick access. You can shake the Nunchuk to reload and your Wii Remote to move your character.

Just so you know, the game can support up to 16 players at the same time because of its ability to connect online plus it works also on a Local Area Network (LAN). You can communicate with your other team through the new Wii Speaker and online voice chat hence making the game more fun and amazing!

The Conduit was recognized for its amazing graphics and sound effects. It includes the reflection and refraction, bump-mapping, fresnel effects, light and shadow maps projections, motion blur, animated textures and a lot more. Because of these remarkable features of the game, The Conduit earned numerous awards and became the hottest game of the year for the Nintendo Wii in 2009.

This is definitely one modifiable game interface. The whole visual display can be customized with your personal preferences so you can maximize your gaming experience. You can move around your health bars, experience bars, your ammo count, etc to anywhere you want on the screen to maximize your visual area.
